Bob Milburn

Bob has been in aviation for 37 years. He spent 10 years in the military with both fixed and rotary wing operations including being seconded to the British Antarctic Survey for 2 years where he performed maintenance in the most challenging climates without any hangarage. He has been in maintenance management as chief engineer for European operations for primarily S61 and S76 aircraft becoming Chief Engineer of Base Maintenance at Aberdeen. In 1997 he became Technical Services Manager just prior to the Scotia-CHC merger. In 2003 he became the Maintenance Manager for CHC European Operations, then the Head Safety and Quality in 2006. Bob’s current role is the Director of CHC European Operations Safety Management System based in Aberdeen.
