A Safety Management System (SMS) is much more than a process to reduce accidents. The ultimate goal of an SMS is the building of a "Safety Culture" where employees are empowered to identify and refuse to take unacceptable risks in order to avoid injury or loss. CHC’s Safety & Quality Summit 2009 will once again gather the greatest minds in aviation safety for the purpose of sharing best practices and methods of leveraging an SMS in "the future of Human Error Management".
